Hello, and thank you for being here. These terms cover the small library of writing guides created and sold by Mary (“Mary”, “we”, “us”) through the Every Writer Needs This store. By browsing this site or buying one of the guides, you’re agreeing to what’s written below. I’ve tried to keep it plain.

Who you’re buying from

Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. When you buy a guide, your purchase and payment are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who acts as the authorized reseller of the products sold here. This means the charge on your bank or card statement will appear as Lemon Squeezy (often shown as “LEMSQZY*”), not as “Mary”.

Because Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record, every purchase is also subject to their Buyer Terms & Conditions. By completing checkout you agree to those terms alongside these. Lemon Squeezy collects your payment, calculates and remits any sales tax or VAT, and handles the billing side of your order.

The guides

Everything in the library is a digital product — PDF guides and audio lessons. Once your purchase is confirmed, your guide is delivered to you by email; there’s nothing physical to ship. Please make sure the email address you enter at checkout is correct, so your guide lands in the right inbox.

Prices & taxes

Prices are listed in US dollars (USD). Depending on where you live, Lemon Squeezy may add sales tax, VAT or GST at checkout. This is calculated and collected by them as Merchant of Record, and shown to you before you pay.

What you may do with the guides

When you buy a guide, it’s yours to keep and use for your own writing life. Please don’t resell it, republish it, or share copies with others — the words, worksheets and audio remain the intellectual property of Mary. If a friend would love it, point them to the library rather than forwarding the file. (The free blueprint is, of course, lovely to recommend.)

Refunds

Because the guides are digital and delivered instantly, all sales are final. You can read the details, and what to do if something goes wrong with your order, on the Refund Policy page.

A gentle note on results

These guides are here to encourage and steady you, but they’re educational materials, not a promise. Whether a story gets finished depends on you and your own creative work. I can’t guarantee any particular outcome, income, or result — only that I made these with care.

The little bit of information we collect, and how Lemon Squeezy handles your checkout details, is explained on the Privacy Policy page.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time, for instance if the products or the tools behind the store change. When I do, I’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
