Your trust matters to me. This page explains what happens to your information when you visit this site or buy a guide from the Every Writer Needs This store. The short version: I collect as little as possible, and I never see your payment details.

What we collect

When you download the free blueprint or buy a guide, you share your name and email address so the guide can be delivered to you and so I can send the occasional note about it. If you email me, I’ll have whatever you choose to write. That’s really all from my side.

Your payment details

I never see or store your card details. All payments run through Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. Your card number and billing information go directly to them and their secure, PCI-compliant payment partners — never to me.

As Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy processes your checkout and acts as a data controller for the information you enter there. Their handling of your data is governed by the Lemon Squeezy Privacy Policy, which I’d encourage you to read.

How we use your information

To deliver the guide you asked for, by email.
To reply when you get in touch.
To send the occasional update or note — only the kind you’d actually want, and only if you’ve opted in.

You can unsubscribe from any email at any time using the link at the bottom of it, and I’ll stop. No hard feelings.

Who we share it with

I don’t sell your information, ever. It’s shared only with the services that make the store work — Lemon Squeezy for payments and order delivery, and the email tool I use to send your guide — and only to the extent needed to get your purchase into your hands.

A note on this website

This site is a set of simple static pages hosted on GitHub Pages, which may keep basic server logs (such as IP addresses) for security. The pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and the checkout window is powered by Lemon Squeezy’s script. These third parties may receive standard technical information, like your browser type, as part of serving the page.

Your rights

You’re welcome to ask what information I hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Just email me and I’ll take care of it. For data tied to your payment or order, Lemon Squeezy can help directly as the Merchant of Record.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, I’ll update the date at the top of the page.
