Meet your mentor

Hi, beautiful human!

I'm Mary. If we haven’t met yet, here’s a little intro and what this cozy corner of the internet is all about.

Have you ever been called “too unrealistic” for choosing art over a traditional path? Or “the black sheep of the family” for not fitting in easily? Or maybe “childish” for following your heart and doing what brings you joy?

Yeah, me too.

And honestly, I’m so glad I was stubborn enough not to listen. Or better yet, glad I chose to listen to my inner voice instead of the external ones. Because since I was 18, art has been my sole source of income.

Now, my purpose is to hold a gentle space for you, where you feel seen, supported, and inspired to express yourself through the stories you were always meant to tell.

About my approach

After 8+ years of teaching artists (dancers & writers) how to tell stories through movement and words, I’ve noticed we tend to lean hard into the feminine side.

That beautiful chaos. The bursts of inspiration. The gut feelings.

We romanticize it a lot and start thinking that’s what being a “real” writer looks like. Like if we even touch something that smells like structure, suddenly we’re not authentic anymore? And because of that lie, our creativity ends up suffering.

Yes, you already have the magic inside you. That amazing story lives within. But if you don’t know how to get it from mind to paper, it stays locked inside.

Structure doesn’t imprison creativity or kill originality. It frees it.

It is freedom when created in a way that supports your energy. It contains your creative flow and gives it direction. It gives your creativity a place to land.

I teach storytelling using a yin and yang approach. Flow and focus. Intuition and intention. Art and craft.

Because writing your book shouldn’t feel like a battle. It should feel like coming home. Doable, rewarding, and whole.

If this speaks to your heart and you’d like to work with me, I’ve created resources you can explore in your own time, from the comfort of home, with a warm drink in your hand and a quiet yes blooming in your chest.
